Our Shoulder Course participants will learn advanced decision-making techniques, explore innovative surgical approaches, and engage in hands-on training. Through expert-led lectures, case discussions, and live surgery demonstrations, attendees will deepen their understanding of complex cases and rehab strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
Dr. Ivan Wong is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Dalhousie University and co-director of the Joint Preservation, Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy Fellowship program. He completed his fellowship with Dr. Stephen Snyder at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute and holds a Masters in Academic Medicine from the University of Southern California. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine, and he is the Past President of the Arthroscopy Association of Canada. Specializing in hip and shoulder arthroscopy, he focuses on minimally invasive procedures. He has trained numerous medical professionals globally and has published over 170 peer-reviewed papers, presenting his research at over 200 conferences.
Dr. Sigman is a leader in Opioid Sparing Surgery, specializing in knee and shoulder orthopedics with over 25 years of experience. He is a team physician at UMASS Lowell and a member of Governor Baker's Commission on pain management.
Dr. Miniaci, Deputy Chief Medical Executive at Baptist Health, specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He has authored numerous papers and patents, including a less invasive shoulder surgery technique.
